Extensive and varied breakfast with lots of appetising foods. Pleasant and welcoming staff with good manners. Location near to the port where restaurants and shops were, the coastline and boats going back. Il Gabbiano in La Maddalena was an incredible experience. the breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, offering a wide variety of appetising foods. the hotel's location near the port, restaurants, shops, coastline, and boats added to the overall convenience and charm of the stay.

Fantastic location and the inside is much better than the outside would let you expect

the Hotel is uniquely situated right next to the waterfront. Many rooms have a great view over the Maddalena Bay Area! Breakfast was also alright.

The hotel is quite noisy as the walls seem to be very thin. It's possible to hear the neighbours sneezing :-)

Il Gabbiano in La Maddalena is fantastic. the place is beautifully decorated, creating a perfect atmosphere, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. the location couldn't be better, situated next to the enchanting coast of La Maddalena and close to great restaurants and the islands. It's the ideal spot for a relaxing stay.

The location to the town was close enough to walk but not so close that the noise from the crowds at the cafes could be heard. The size of the room and the free parking were a plus. In addition, our room had a nice balcony overlooking the water and the harbor. The buffet breakfast was very nice and included in the price of the room. In addition, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Finally, although it didn't matter to us, pets are allowed, at no additional charge; and a limited number of guests can moor their boat at the hotel.

Though large, the room was spartan and for a long stay (3+ nights) it would have been beneficial to have a fridge (note that some rooms do have fridges but others don't). It would have been nice to have a safe in the room; and although we had a couple of chairs in the balcony, a small table would have been an improvement.
